Alabama Christian lost in the quarter-finals of the playoffs last season to a good Andalusia team by a score of 45-13.

The Eagles hope to continue the success they had last season. Coach Sanford saw improvement as they won ten games following a 4-7 record in 2016.

Since 2010, Alabama Christian has gone a combined 41-66. Their 38.0% winning percentage ranks 40th in Class 4A over the past eight seasons.
